This holiday season, the Keene Family YMCA invites you to be part of their Giving Tree initiative, a way for our community to come together and support families in need. Through the Giving Tree, you can help fulfill holiday wishes by purchasing gifts for local families who could use a little extra support.
Here’s how it works: local families in need can complete a Giving Tree application, available here. Applications must be submitted by November 4, either at the Y’s Welcome Center or by emailing Katie Gregory at kgregory@keene-ymca.org.
Soon, we’ll set up our Giving Tree in the YMCA lobby, adorned with wishes from these families. Each tag on the tree represents a unique wish. Community members are invited to pick a tag, purchase the gift, and return it unwrapped (along with the tag) by December 2.
By participating, you’ll make the season a little brighter for families in our area. Join us in spreading joy through the simple act of giving.
