The holiday season is a time for community, kindness, and connection — and the Keene Family YMCA’s Giving Tree is one of the ways we come together to support one another.
What is the Giving Tree?
The Giving Tree is our way of helping to make the holidays a little brighter for local families. Each year, this initiative helps families by sharing holiday gifts and essentials, donated by caring community members. Applications were due on November 3rd. The Y received requests for help from more than 100 families this year.
Grab a tag, grant a wish.
The Giving Tree is up in the YMCA lobby, adorned with tags representing the wishes of families from our community. Each tag shares a simple wish — a chance to make the season brighter for a neighbor.
Community members are invited to choose a tag, purchase the gift, and return it unwrapped (with the tag attached) by December 5th.
By taking part, you’ll bring joy to a local family and help keep the spirit of giving alive in our community.
