Lifeguards – Part-time positions

Responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants in our Aquatics Center, upholding the Y and state of NH regulations and guidelines. Flexible hours, current American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard certifications along with First Aid, CPR and AED certifications required. 

Head Lifeguard – Part-time position

The Head Lifeguard maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas when lifeguarding, instructing swim lessons and during pool maintenance checks. They act as a shift supervisor in the absence of the Aquatic Director. Flexible hours, current American Red Cross of YMCA Lifeguard certifications along with First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications required. 

Swim Instructors

Instructs group classes in a safe, enjoyable, culturally aware and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures with advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Click here  for the full job description.

Child Care: Full-time and Part-time positions

Associate Teacher: Full-time positions
One year of experience teaching preschool aged children and a minimum of 9 ECE credits required. 

Child Care Teacher’s Assistant and Subs: Full and Part-time positions
Must have prior experience working with children from infant to preschool ages. 

Housekeeping – Part-time position 
Responsible for the cleanliness, physical appearance, and appeal of the YMCA facility. Keeps building in clean and orderly condition. Performs cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash along with other Housekeeping duties as assigned.

Welcome Center Representatives – Part-time positions, multiple shifts available (days, nights, weekends)

Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of multi-line switch boards, computers, and the ability to multi-task a must. Responsibilities include welcoming the community into the facility, processing memberships and program registrations, assisting program directors in enforcing policy and procedures, especially those created around COVID-19 safety.
