Ben Jackson: Wrestler, Athlete, Inspiration

Benjamin Cummings-Jackson was diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy as a child. Despite his diagnosis, Ben has become a formidable athlete, personal trainer and motivational speaker. 

A former wrestler at Pocono Mountain West High School in Pennsylvania, Ben was the face of Gatorade’s iconic #WinFromWithin campaign in 2014. He is a firm believer that from adversity one gains strength, and that every challenge is an opportunity to showcase resilience.

As a motivational speaker, Ben spoke at the 2015 Beyond Sport International Summit. He’s also delivered motivational speeches to several professional sports teams including the Baltimore Ravens, NY Giants, and the Brooklyn Nets to name a few. 

We’re also pleased to share that while he is visiting us here in Keene, Ben is working on the Wellness Floor and offering personal training services at the Keene Family YMCA.
