Infant – Preschool Positions

Associate Teacher  – full-time

One year of experience teaching preschool and toddler aged children and a minimum of 9 ECE credits required. 9:00am-5:30pm. 

Teacher Assistant and Subs – Full-and Part-Time

Must have prior experience working with children infant – preschool ages. Flexible hours 6:30 am -5:30 pm M-F.

The Keene Family YMCA is seeking an energetic, outgoing and passionate individual to join our Gymnastics program.

Gymnastics Team Coach –Part time, with growth potential to Head Coach.  This individual will have knowledge of competitive gymnastics in all 4 gymnastics events (floor, bars, vault, and beam) with at least 3 years of experience with competitive gymnastics including lessons, training, spotting, proper techniques, competition, USAG membership is a plus.  Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, the ability to teach a variety of learners using appropriate instructional styles.  Send resume to the attention of Cindy Puza at cpuza@keene-ymca.org   EEO

Lifeguards

Part time positions; Responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants in our aquatics center, upholding the Y’s, and state of NH regulations and guidelines. Flexible hours, current American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard certifications along with First Aid, CPR and AED certifications required. EOE. 

Swim Instructors

Part time positions; Responsible for ensuring safety through instruction and observation of all participants enrolled in swim lessons. Must be able to swim while holding a small to medium sized child and able to lift 60lbs or heavier with assistance. YMCA Swim Instructor certification, WSI certification, or relevant experience, CPR, AED and First Aid

Day Camp Group Leader/Activity Specialist

Position Summary:
Provides direct supervision and positive engagement of a group of school-age children in an outdoor, day camp setting. Provides a quality experience to both campers and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.
Seeking Activity Specialists in the following areas: STEM, Sports/Group Games & Creative Arts;
these specialists will be responsible for setting up and facilitating designated activities to camp groups

Qualifications:
– High school graduate or equivalent; one year or more of college preferred; at least 3 credits in education, human growth/development, be a certified coach or documented 600 hours of working experience
– Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
– Experience in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living/camping, nature-based education, songs/music, sports/recreational games, aquatics, arts/crafts, team building, etc.
– First Aid/CPR/AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training prior to camp start date

Other important/qualifying factors:
– Must be available for training beginning the first week in June
– Must be able to commit to the full 8 weeks of Wakonda (6/22 – 8/14)
– Must adhere to additional skill set requirements as agreed upon during interview (belay certification and/or lifeguard certification)

Member Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer service representative to join our Y team. 

The member services coordinator aids the member services director by completing scheduling, and administrative tasks as well as providing leadership to the Welcome center team and the Y during the evening and weekend hours. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self motivated and dedicated to strengthening our community through excellent customer service. Experience in customer service, Microsoft excel, and fast paced environments preferred

Member Services Representative

The Y is seeking welcoming and motivated individuals to join our Welcome Center team. Ideal candidates are friendly, self motivated and eager to engage our Y members to reach their fullest potential. Customer service experience preferred. Multiple shifts available including nights and weekends

ChildWatch Staff

The Y is seeking individuals with childcare experience and a desire to engage with our youngest members. ChildWatch staff are responsible for caring for children aged 4 months to 10 years in a caring and supportive manner. Day and evening hours available.
