Keene Royals Bring Home Titles

Keene Royals Bring Home 3 Event Titles at the Eastern YMCA League Championships

The Keene Family YMCA competed in the Eastern YMCA League Championships on March 24-26, hosted by the Allard Center YMCA. The Keene Royals faced some hard competition, but still brought home three event titles.

In level 3, Brooke Douai took 2nd on vault (9.35), 2nd on floor (8.8) and 3rd all-around (35.25). Camryn Finley took home 10th on vault (8.75) and 10th on floor (8.1). While Bella Johnson took home 7th on vault (8.7), 5th on bars (8.6) and 7th on floor (8.4). As a team they finished 7th.

In level 4, Mya Harlow took home 8th on vault (8.05) and 4th on bars (8.5).

In level 6, Sofia Accorsi came home with the vault champion title (9.4), 3rd on floor (9.15) and 4th all-around (35.6)

In level 7, Meredith Lewis came home with floor champion title (9.05), 2nd on vault (9.0), 2nd on beam (7.8) and 2nd all-around (33.65). While Caelan Purrington took home 4th on bars (8.2), 7th on beam (8.1) and 9th all-around (33.3)

In XCEL Gold, Sarah Feld came home with the bars champion title (9.0), 2nd on beam (9.0) and 2nd on floor (9.3).

The Royals head to Saugus MA this weekend to compete in the MA/NH YMCA State Championship meet hosted by the Metro North YMCA. Also Sunday, April 30th the Royals will be hosting their last home meet of the season so don’t forget to check them out and show your support!
