Race walking is an Olympic sport, but you may never have heard of it or paid much attention to it. This type of exercise can provide tremendous health benefits without many of the drawbacks associated with other exercise types. Race walking provides an excellent cardiovascular workout with a reduced risk of exercise related injury. Appropriate for all ages and requiring only a good pair of sneakers, race walking is a great wellness option.
